Capacity & Performance Management

Prevents service degradation by planning, monitoring, and scaling AiVRIC infrastructure.

Purpose & scope

This policy guides how AiVRIC designs, operates, and validates Capacity & Performance Management across production, corporate, and partner environments.

It applies to employees, contractors, vendors, and any system interacting with AiVRIC data or services.

Key controls

  • Monitor key performance indicators (CPU, memory, latency, error rates, queue depth).
  • Set capacity thresholds with alerts and auto-scaling rules where applicable.
  • Conduct load and performance testing before major releases.
  • Maintain scaling runbooks and escalation paths for saturation events.

Operating procedures

  • Review capacity dashboards weekly; track trends against targets.
  • Execute load tests in staging for significant feature changes; record results.
  • Tune autoscaling policies after incidents to prevent recurrence.

Owner: Security & Compliance. Review cadence: annually or after material changes.

Evidence: Collected via AiVRIC audit logs, ticketing systems, monitoring dashboards, and vendor records as appropriate to this policy area.
